A South Jordan, Utah man was fatally struck and killed by a truck this morning as he was jogging to work. Police have confirmed that Randy Treglown was at the crosswalk of 9800 South and 4000 West, when a truck that was headed southbound hit him as he crossed the street. Mr. Treglown who would jog to work regularly was a physical education teacher at Elk Ridge Middle School was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Treglown was not wearing any reflective clothing at the time of the accident, Treglown was usually spotted wearing some kind of reflective clothing to make him visible to drivers while he jogged to work. Students at the school were Treglown taught are being notified about the accident this afternoon. The Jordan School District says Treglown was in his seventeenth year at Elk Ridge Middle School, and in his twenty-ninth year over all with the district.
