The last thing former professional tennis player James Blake thought when a man ran at him in front of his hotel was that he was going to be tackled to the ground. However, that’s what did happen, as Blake waited for a car to take him to the U.S. Open for a corporate appearance in front of the Grand Hyatt hotel. The officer ran up to Blake, threw him to the ground, cuffed him and took him away. He confused Blake with someone else they were looking for.
Blake is obviously using his stature to bring awareness to what happened, and all the national news outlets are well aware of this crazy story.
