PLEASANT VIEW, UTAH An 11-year-old Pleasant View girl has passed away from the injures as a result of being impaled by a rod lying around in her families’ house. Nichole “Nikki” Clark has been hospitalized since Saturday afternoon but her condition has not improved; as of Monday her condition has taken a turn for the worse as it was announced she is now brain dead. What happened to the young girl is being called a combination of bad luck and natural instinct. Nichole was outside playing with her families dog as she went up the stairs to enter the families house with rod in hand the rod pierced through Nichole’s chest and exited through her neck, her first reaction was to pull out the rod which led to her loosing a considerable amount of blood which caused her condition to deteriorate even faster. As a result of this tragic event the Sgt. of the Pleasant View Police department shared some words to alert others of this by saying, “You want to leave it in there, because when you pull it out it causes more damage,”
The 1Law family would like to extend our thoughts to Nichole Clark and her family.
